Requirements
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing.
- Knowledge of software performance methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.
- Solid understanding of programming concepts w/ Python or Java or JavaScript.
Responsibilities
- Supporting Quality Assurance team on programs or projects.
- Conducting program reviews and complex process audits; assisting in major audits/reviews of programs and subcontractors.
- Evaluating and reviewing products and processes; providing status reporting to Quality Assurance and site management.
- Involving senior management to resolve deficiencies or compliance issues in a timely manner as needed.
- Monitoring adherence to quality standards in the development and implementation of production applications.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of the assurance process.
- Assisting in planning and estimation of Quality Assurance support for new programs and projects.
- Helping to establish quality standards to be universally applied throughout the site; recommending quality improvements.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Identifying regression test cases for the application, browser related test cases, mobile test cases, UX, performance, and security test cases.
- Identify the tests that involve multiple browsers, devices, and different versions of operating systems.
- Performance Testing – Load Test, Stress Test, Endurance Testing and Fail over Test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with HP Loadrunner.
- Experience with setting up automation testing frameworks/tools/devOps.
