Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in the surety industry, with a focus on commercial surety bonds.
- Strong knowledge of commercial surety underwriting guidelines, risk assessment, and bond pricing.
- Proven track record in managing and growing a portfolio of commercial surety accounts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial surety accounts, including new business development and renewal activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique surety bond needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with underwriters to assess risk, determine bond eligibility, and negotiate terms and conditions.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of client financials and to ensure accurate underwriting and pricing.
- Prepare and present surety bond proposals to clients, addressing their specific requirements and provide clear explanations of terms and conditions.
- Monitor and manage the surety bond renewal process, ensuring timely and accurate renewals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions related to commercial surety bonds.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Insurance Account Executives, to provide comprehensive service to clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including bond information, financials, and communication history.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance and support throughout the bond process and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
