Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development preferred
- Experience building and delivering scalable and secure cloud-based systems
- Direct experience with frontend stack (TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, GraphQL)
- Direct experience with backend stack (Python, PostgreSQL, Temporal)
- Ability to take a concept and systematically drive it through the software lifecycle: architecture, development, testing, deployment and monitoring
Responsibilities
- Build and expand web applications: Remote Flight Deck, DFR Command, ReadyLink
- Imagine and build best in class UIs and UX using advanced web technologies
- Collaborate across functions to design and deliver customer-facing product features
- Leverage experience to uphold and improve engineering standards
- Ensure platform availability 24/7 by joining the rotating on-call schedule
Preferred Qualifications
- Bonus for direct experience with 3D graphics and video game tooling (WebGL, WebGPU, Unreal Engine, Three.js)
- Bonus for experience with geospatial tools (Mapbox, Cesium, ESRI suite, PostGIS, QGIS)
- Bonus for experience with real-time and streaming tooling (Websockets, WebRTC, Livekit, WebCodecs)
- Bonus for direct experience with autonomy and robotics (Drone software, robotics software, ROS)
