Defense Army Aviation Business Development Lead

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aerospace, business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of experience in business development, program management, or technical leadership within the defense sector
Extensive knowledge of PEO Aviation programs, acquisition strategies, and contracting mechanisms
Expertise in unmanned aircraft systems, weaponized payloads, and related technologies.
Proven track record of successfully capturing and executing DoD contracts
Strong network within the Army aviation and UAS community
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Familiarity with Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) programs, Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreements, and other rapid acquisition pathways
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Lead business development efforts related to PEO Aviation, with a focus on unmanned aircraft and associated munitions
Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and capture new business opportunities within the DoD and defense industry ecosystem
Engage with key stakeholders, including government customers, industry partners, and research institutions, to shape requirements and influence procurement strategies
Provide subject matter expertise on UAS capabilities, lethal payloads, and emerging threats to guide internal teams and customer discussions
Track and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements relevant to UAS and ordnance integration
Lead and support proposal development, white papers, and responses to government solicitations
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and government briefings to enhance visibility and market positioning

Prior military or government experience supporting PEO Aviation or related DoD organizations
Hands-on experience with UAS development, testing, or deployment
