Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a product manager-related occupation
- Experience in travel insurance or FinTech
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Ability to define quantitative and qualitative measures to drive performance across product area
- Experience in developing product strategies, roadmaps, and go-to market plans
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management
- Ability to use frameworks to align stakeholders and leadership on product direction/key decisions
- Experience in prioritizing customer segments to ensure business value
Responsibilities
- Gather detailed business requirements from stakeholders and work closely with technology staff to translate requirements into functional designs and specifications
- Responsible for development, test, and implementation of new technology and incremental application releases
- Drive and own ongoing internal stakeholder engagement to ensure requirements, product roadmap, development plans, success metrics, and expectations are constantly aligned
- Create and maintain development plans and associate user stories that clearly define functionality or feature targets and acceptance criteria
- Communicate feature status regularly with internal and external stakeholders and management, ensuring that issues are appropriately escalated to keep delivery on track
- Properly identify risk and mitigation opportunities relating to project scope, schedule, and resources
- Continuously assess team’s velocity and contribution, and adapt planning tools, Agile methods, communication channels, and engagement models to ensure continuous, sustained delivery of value-driven products and services
- Clarify, prioritize, and drive project commitments
- Collaboratively coordinate cross group technical and schedule dependencies
- Address bottlenecks, anticipate and make project tradeoffs, and provide escalation management
- Participate in the definition of engineering best practices within the project team
