Requirements
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, Keynote, PowerPoint, Photoshop
- Proficiency with both MAC and PC Operating Systems
- A strong interest in television, the entertainment industry, partnerships/event marketing, and digital marketing
- A passion for and knowledge of market trends, pop culture and current events
- Strong social media and marketing skills, very familiar with Facebook, X, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and YouTube
- Shows curiosity about diversity and inclusion and an eagerness to contribute to audience engagement initiatives
- A proven high attention to detail and the ability to take direction from multiple partners, balance numerous projects simultaneously, prioritize deadlines and effectively work in a fast-paced environment
- Problem solver with a positive, can do demeanor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Event planning and/or experience facilitating partnerships between brands is a plus
Responsibilities
- Support all team members on a variety of projects as needed to help improve partnership and promotional opportunities for the company
- Contribute to a wide-range of marketing strategies and tactics that serve to drive awareness around key network programming
- Assist with promotional campaigns for strategically-selected consumer brands including partner identification, competitive research, concept development, contact sheet management, pitch deck development, and recap decks/wrap reports
- Support the development of large-scale live events (CMA Fest, Essence Fest, Comic-Con, etc) screenings, and other experiential marketing initiatives and stunts
- Assist with the development of promotional premium items for events, gifting and stunts, ensuring that all items are on brand and adhere to company quality requirements
- Assemble marketing toolkits for key priorities and distribute to partners as needed (Hulu, cable affiliates, internal corporate partners, non-profit organizations, etc.)
- Complete administrative tasks as assigned (manage team invoices and budget sheets, input projects into internal project management system, SAP, data reporting, recaps and tracking, etc.)
- Share creative ideas for growth, efficiency and collaboration with team
- Attend department meetings and brainstorms
- Watch shows and write copy for social media posts
- Analyze social media data
- Brainstorm ideas for digital marketing executions
- Create and handle digital marketing assets
- Help deliver assets to appropriate internal and external stakeholders
- Create one sheet social media guidelines for premiere launches
- Conduct competitive analysis on the social media landscape
Preferred Qualifications
- Event planning and/or experience facilitating partnerships between brands is a plus
