Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Biology or similar scientific discipline.
- 1-2+ years proven experience in sales, preferably in the scientific or analytical instruments industry.
- Strong computer skills and excellent technical written and oral presentation skills are essential.
- Must be a good team player, able to work collaboratively on projects and sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for selling Agilent products to end-user customers at a strategic account.
- Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in sales activities.
- Responsible for generating existing and/or new sales for assigned named accounts or assigned geographic, territory, industry or accounts list, or for identifying and recruiting strategic partners to embed and/or resell company products.
- Promotes and sells products and/or solutions to current or new customers/partners and informs customers of new product introductions.
- Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans.
- Responsible for developing customers and maintaining their satisfaction.
- Maintains positive ongoing long-term relationships with key customers.
- May drive customer utilization of Agilent’s online sales.
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidate with Pharmaceutical background is highly desired but not required.
- Experience with chromatographic separations (Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectroscopy) and fundamentals and principles is highly desired.
- Deep technical understanding of Agilent’s portfolio of chromatographic solutions and associated applications is highly desirable.
