Requirements
- 5 or more years of applicable experience
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Assist in identifying resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
- Develop project plans and critical paths. Communicate plans to Supply Chain Team members
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Create savings dashboards and maintain a master savings tracker document
- Develop meeting agendas, prepare, and present clinical and/or financial data, prepare minutes, and monitor project plans
- Participate in planning of supply chain projects
- Use of analytical and quantitative skills used in conjunction with statistical and comparative analysis
- Facilitate an efficient process to manage contract lifecycle, maximizing validated savings, and ensuring pricing accuracy
- Price activation of contracts on Hartford’s behalf
- Management of Hartford’s member roster
- Strong focus on service excellence, customer service and meeting internal and external customer needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced technical skills in MS Office suite and current healthcare supply chain information systems
- Business Solutions (excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proactive approaches to problem solving and critical thinking
- Excellent communication skills. Conduct and facilitate management level discussions
- Cultivate strong relationships with supply chain team, supply chain leadership, and other department leaders
- Strong knowledge of the issues surrounding the market in which Hartford serves
- 5 Years Applicable Experience
- Management experience required. Progressive leadership preferred
- Experience in analyzing healthcare processes toward improving patient outcomes
- Supply Chain Management Principles
- Project management (PMP is a plus)/sourcing/analytics
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Formal training in Lean Six Sigma and PMBOK
