Requirements
- Technical BS Degree (ideally Electrical Engineering) or relevant technical sales experience.
- Requires at least 3-5 years of industry related experience in technical product sales.
- Successful track record of exceeding sales targets and interfacing with customers at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales opportunities and develop business plans to enable and accelerate sales growth.
- Solid understanding of the EV/Energy market, RF/microwave, wireless and general purpose test & measurement applications.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams including both sales and factory.
- Ability to work in a complex, dynamic and fast moving environment while personally engaging in many customer-facing activities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound business judgment with organization & negotiation skills.
- Effective presentation and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for generating existing and/or new sales for assigned territory.
- Promotes and sells products and/or solutions to current or new customers/partners and informs customers of new product introductions.
- Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans.
- Responsible for developing customers and maintaining their satisfaction.
- Maintains positive ongoing long-term relationships with key customers.
- Proactively acts to understand customer needs and identify solutions to non-standard tasks/queries; actively creates business opportunities.
- Determines and develops approaches to sales assignments to achieve quota/strategies.
- Leads projects requiring coordination with other functions, organizations.
- Solves a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity.
