Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA Certification highly preferred.
- Experience with Workiva implementations and optimizations within the Financial Reporting solution.
- Bring a minimum of ten years of experience in financial reporting, including SEC reporting, with a proven track record of leadership and project management in these areas.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead complex engagements, providing strategic oversight and ensuring excellence in delivery.
- Extensive experience in mentoring and developing teams, with a strong commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, crafting customized solutions for our clients that meet all regulatory requirements.
- Skilled in navigating and managing client relationships, building trust, and establishing credibility as a strategic advisor.
- A visionary leader with a passion for driving the growth and development of the advisory practice, contributing to thought leadership, and enhancing methodologies and service offerings.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the delivery of advisory services in accounting and financial reporting, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute strategic engagement plans, directing the assessment of current reporting environment, and advising on best practices for streamlining and automating the reporting process.
- Serve as the primary liaison with clients at the executive level, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Drive the growth and development of the advisory practice, identifying opportunities for expansion, and enhancing our methodologies and service offerings to maintain and enhance our market leadership.
- Mentor and develop the advisory team, encouraging professional growth, technical excellence, and a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Lead by example, setting high standards for integrity, professionalism, and client service, and fostering an environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and excellence in every aspect of our practice.
