Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision
  • Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
  • Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes
  • Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

Responsibilities

  • General Ledger Reporting & Analysis including leading the monthly legal entity close process & coordinating closing process across multiple teams
  • Financial Accounting including preparation of journal entries, variance analysis, and account reconciliations
  • Inventory Accounting including leading the annual wall-to-wall inventory count process & reporting of results to facility and accounting leadership
  • Lead Trial Balance monthly review process
  • Lead development of new data analysis tools and processes for Inventory accuracy (IDA)
  • Independently review & approve purchase order requisitions and invoices
  • Utilize financial data to initiate process improvements in monthly closing
  • Ad hoc QAD and Corvu support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with legal entity reporting
  • Strong analytical skills to perform detailed financial analysis
  • Strong ability to collaborate and partner across peers and leadership both inside and outside of the accounting function
