Accounting Analyst

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision
Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes
Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

General Ledger Reporting & Analysis including leading the monthly legal entity close process & coordinating closing process across multiple teams
Financial Accounting including preparation of journal entries, variance analysis, and account reconciliations
Inventory Accounting including leading the annual wall-to-wall inventory count process & reporting of results to facility and accounting leadership
Lead Trial Balance monthly review process
Lead development of new data analysis tools and processes for Inventory accuracy (IDA)
Independently review & approve purchase order requisitions and invoices
Utilize financial data to initiate process improvements in monthly closing
Ad hoc QAD and Corvu support

Experience with legal entity reporting
Strong analytical skills to perform detailed financial analysis
Strong ability to collaborate and partner across peers and leadership both inside and outside of the accounting function
