Requirements
- Accounting degree and/or strong GAAP accounting knowledge is required
- CPA or Public accounting experience a plus
- Strong analytical & interpersonal skills are required
- Superior MS Excel skills are required
- Alternative Asset Management experience is a plus
- Management reporting experience a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are critical
- Highly motivated, results-oriented individual with a real sense of urgency and commitment
- 3+ years experience
Responsibilities
- Full accounting and reporting responsibilities for advisor entities
- Daily and monthly journal entry bookings and related reconciliations
- Extensive interaction with our fund & tax accountants
- Extensive interaction with auditors during the year-end audit
- Extensive interaction with offshore support team
- Extensive Management reporting
- Sarbanes Oxley compliance
- Cash reconciliations and relevant journal entries
- Inter-company Reconciliation and Settlement of outstanding balances
- Balance Sheet review and sign-off of relevant account
- Revenue booking, analysis and forecasting
- Review of Overhead Allocations
- Expense booking, analysis and forecasting
- Involvement in monthly management reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or Public accounting experience a plus
- Alternative Asset Management experience is a plus
- Management reporting experience a plus
