Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Pursuing major in accounting or finance
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with a strong ability to learn and interact with web-based software.
- Literacy in the use of personal computer applications and ten-key is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Complete recurring tasks including: Assist in organizing and archiving financial documents related to capital expenditures and projects. Including performing journal entries and general ledger account updates as needed. Preparation and posting journal entries under supervision. Assist in processing employee expense reports and invoices via our third-party processes. Provide clerical support such as filing and scanning documents.
- Participate in training and shadowing team members to gain hands-on experience and understand credit union accounting and reporting processes.
- Create and update processes and procedures as necessary.

- Financial institution experience
