Requirements
- Bachelors or associates degree in accounting or related field of study or equivalent years of experience in commensurate duties
- Accounts Payable experience is a plus
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of NetSuite is preferred, but not required. Must be able to proficiently learn the use of the system
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical financial practices
Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable – Enter and pay invoices
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Demonstrate strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Assist in the Cash Application process with customer payments
- Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
- Other duties as assigned to achieve team and company objectives.
- Monitor and respond to the Accounting email box
Preferred Qualifications
