Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Field of Study: Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline
- Generally, 0 to 6 months of related experience
- Prepares to sit for 1st Actuarial Exam
Responsibilities
- Learns various actuarial techniques and procedures
- Becomes familiar with company operations, systems, and actuarial methodologies
- Updates data in established pricing and reserving analyses
- Becomes familiar with basic statistical techniques
- Improves upon basic knowledge in Excel and introduced to programming and other actuarial software
- Performs other duties as assigned
