Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event or Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • A semester-long internship in Event or Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and proficient computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to deliver first-class customer service.
  • Ability to think outside the box and willingness to accept and implement changes as needed.
  • Extreme attention to detail and care for the minute aspects of an event.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the planning and execution of all Admissions Events.
  • Event Setup: aid in the creation of diagrams for setups, scheduling of outside vendors, review of gifts with Outreach Manager, and other needs as necessary.
  • Event Review: work with Admissions Events Coordinators to improve events, compile surveys from attendees and staff to gather proper feedback and make necessary adjustments.
  • Assist day-of-event contacts as needed at select events.
  • Assist with creation and implementation of new ideas.
  • Other duties as assigned.
