Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Engineering from an ABET university or college
- At least 4 additional years of experience in an Engineering position
- Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the readiness, setup, and execution of commercial and military Development Engine Tests
- Acts as the Test Director, coordinating test card execution, setup, facility needs, inspections, and deliverables
- Coordinates engineering requirements and partners with Evaluation and Systems engineering
- Contributes to the design and implementation of new test systems and upgrades existing ones
- Leads the test operations team to execute test campaigns
- Utilizes experience and expertise to solve problems, develop objectives, and impact business goals
- Improves existing products and components, planning and executing within standard functional practices and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Self-motivated and driven
- Knowledge of fulfillment, assembly, instrumentation, and test disciplines
- Familiarity with the TSE Department Sections and Sub-Sections
- Engine and Rig test experience
- Experience with finance and scheduling tools, Open plan, Clarity, Spotfire
- Established project management skills and ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
- Very strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to influence small team and across functions
- Experience working with DoD and/or Commercial customer and processes
- Active DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher
