Requirements
- Experience with theory and experimentation of quantum materials or qubit control as demonstrated through scientific publications
- Experience handling large data sets, including data collection, manipulation, and analysis
- Experience evaluating and interpreting experimental data
- Ability to convey complex concepts to a vast audience either written or verbally
- Ability to work collaboratively in a manner that leverages vast backgrounds and expertise
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Master’s degree
Responsibilities
- Work closely with your customer to understand their questions and needs and provide direct quantum support in their laboratory environment
- Mentor and learn from teammates
- Run advanced experiments
- Study and evaluate complex data
- Recommend changes and alternative solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working in a laboratory environment
- Experience leading and managing teams of scientists and engineers
- Knowledge of low and room temperature qubit measurements, including MKS
- Knowledge of quantum algorithms, ion trapping, superconducting circuits, or photonics
- Knowledge of optical readout and coherent control of spin qubits, electrical readout, or integration with CMOS devices
- Doctorate degree in Physics, Material Science, or EE
