Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in technical project management, scoping projects and leveraging inter-disciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in cutting edge technology applicable to remote sensing, communications, or computation as applied to space systems.
- Experience in Geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) OR signals intelligence (SIGINT) technologies.
- Ability to be proactive, think strategically, and anticipate needs.
- Willing to travel domestically approximately 10% of time.
- This position requires a current and active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating various studies ranging across phenomenologies and technologies, breaking down complex questions into manageable components to bring data-driven results to the nation’s hardest problems.
- Engaging Aerospace’s premier analysis, simulation, and laboratory resources in the Engineering and Technology Group (ETG) matrix and consolidating assessments from Subject Matter Experts within these organizations into cohesive, impactful, and actionable findings for the customer.
- Interacting frequently with government, SETA, and contractor personnel as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Direct experience with government or commercial space systems.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Familiarity with AI/ML applications and implementation, High-performance computing, Optics, Photonics, Position, navigation, and timing (PNT) technologies, Prototyping, CubeSats, and space experiments, Materials science.
