Requirements
- US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance
- MS degree in a STEM Discipline
- 12+ years of related experience working on DOD or missile defense programs
- Works Independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks
- Ability to apply engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems
- Ability to provide program oversight and recommendations for resolution of complex technical issues to Senior Leadership within the Program office and MDA Leadership
Responsibilities
- Assess the degree to which the identified systems operations and technical requirements are being met and where improvements for modernization may be applied for the next generation of missile defense systems
- Assess the complete Fleet based mission Defense capability against stated requirements for various Sea-based Weapons Systems Program Offices
- Assess and identify gaps in current baseline technical and operational capabilities as well as identifying areas for potential modernization of existing baseline
- Ensure all areas of program development are meeting requirements including performance cost and schedule
- Resolve complex technical issues and provide potential solutions to senior members of the Program Offices and the Missile Defense Agency
Preferred Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Prior experience with Aegis Weapons Systems
- Experience with Weapon System Development
- Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.
