Requirements
- BS in a relevant technical field.
- Proficiency with Linux command line operations.
- Strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Capability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Adaptability to work in a shipyard environment, including occasional short periods at sea.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain the AEGIS Weapon System computer program throughout ship construction.
- Ensure system compliance with authorized configurations.
- Develop and track changes to support testing and integration.
- Provide timely status reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Manage user accounts on the AEGIS Weapon System.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with VMWare configurations in Linux environments.
- Knowledge of network administration and LINUX/UNIX systems.
- Proficiency in Bash shell scripting.
