Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Partner Prospecting
Identify and reach out to new potential agency partners.
Partner Sales Enablement & Support
Train, onboard, and equip Polar aency partners with the tools, training, and knowledge needed to effectively sell Polar Analytics’ solutions
Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day partner needs, product questions, and escalations.
Revenue Growth Through Partnerships:
Actively collaborate with partners to identify and pursue joint sales opportunities, contributing to measurable revenue increases.
Provide hands-on support for partner-led deals, including deal structuring, pricing, and objection handling.
Work with partners to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, driving deals from initial discussions to closed revenue.
Own a revenue quota tied to partner-driven sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with the sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on partnership strategies that directly drive revenue.
Who we’re looking for:
Sales and Revenue Generation
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue quotas in a sales, partnerships, or business development role.
Strong experience in deal structuring, pricing negotiations, and closing partnership or sales agreements.
Skilled in analyzing sales and performance metrics to identify opportunities and optimize partner performance.
Relationship Management and Communication
Demonstrated ability to build, nurture, and scale long-term, high-value relationships with partners or clients.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas persuasively and drive alignment across stakeholders.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to achieve shared goals.
Industry and Technical Knowledge
Familiarity with the eCommerce industry and an understanding of SaaS solutions or analytics tools is a strong plus.
Basic understanding of modern technology stacks, particularly in eCommerce or analytics, to effectively communicate with partners.
Experience and Work Style
4+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, or business development roles.
Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and results-driven approach to challenges.
Adaptability and a collaborative mindset to succeed in a high-growth environment.
Comfort with working remote
Our Hiring Process 📝
We believe in a structured, fair, and transparent hiring process. While the steps may vary by role, here’s what you can expect:
1. Recruiter Screen (30 mins): A call with our Head of Talent to talk through your current/past experience and your motivations and Tell you more about Polar Analytics.
2. Role Fit Interview (45 mins): Here, you’ll meet either the Hiring Manager or a team member of a similar level to discuss your ways of working and understand your skillset and ability for the role.
3. Competency Deep Dive (1 hour): This interview usually consists of a practical element (case study, Presentation, Technical Problem Solving etc) designed to give you a broader understanding of how we drive impact at Polar. This will be with the hiring manager and one other team member.
4. Culture Interview (45 mins): A conversation with one of our Culture Champions. We assess your team fit based on our values (see below).
