AI Data Protection – Information Security Sr Advisor

Requirements

• Requires BS/BA in information Technology or related field of study
• Minimum of 8 years experience in systems administration and security aspects of information systems, access management and network security technologies, network communications, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management, hardware, software, data, and people
• Experience with multiple technical and business disciplines required
• Requires broad-based experience to plan and design highly complex systems

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage AI-specific data protection strategies
• Develop and tune DLP policies specifically for AI environments
• Collaborate closely with Identity Management and Large Language Model (LLM) teams
• Implement and manage data protection tools and technologies that support AI data environments
• Review and analyze data flow within AI systems
• Continuously evaluate AI data protection measures and propose enhancements
• Support audit and compliance processes by providing necessary documentation
• Provides trouble resolution and serves as point of technical escalation on complex problems
• Creates presentations and seeks IT management approval and acceptance of significant replacements or reconfigurations of major security systems
• Sets vendor strategy and direction
• May be assigned to project teams for technical consultation to business partners and developers
• Designs & engineers comprehensive access management and network security technical solutions
• Develops reports supporting strategy and direction for management
• Capable of serving as technical merger & acquisition lead
• Acts as a subject matter expert among peers, with manager and senior management

Preferred Qualifications

• Security Certifications: CISSP and other advanced technical security certifications (e.g. Information Systems Security Architecture Professional, Information Security Engineering Professional, Certification and Accreditation Professional, or equivalent certifications) strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of data protection principles, particularly in AI and generative AI systems including DLP and data classification
• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to varied audiences
• Strong Project Management skills with a history of successfully managing large-scale information security initiatives and processes
