Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Minimum ONE (1) year experience in building production-grade AI/ML systems and data products using best practices in software engineering
- Familiarity with financial data sources, regulations, and industry-specific use cases such as fraud, know-your-customer, forecasting, credit risk management, pricing and revenue optimization, Fair Lending, and/or ESG among others
- Ability to analyze large and complex data sets, with strong aptitude for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis focused on financial services use cases
- Excellent programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other relevant frameworks
- Ability to identify and address client needs, build relationships, design, and implement solutions
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy advanced AI/ML models such as large language models (LLMs) to solve complex problems in the financial services industry
- Build production-grade AI/ML systems and data products that can be reliably deployed and scaled
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, data scientists, and software engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Continuously optimize and improve AI/ML models and systems to enhance performance and business impact
- Communicate technical concepts and model capabilities to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner
- Stay up to date with developments in AI/ML
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building and deploying AI/ML systems at scale in a cloud environment
- Understanding of ML/analytics product lifecycle management (MLOps, DataOps)
- Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or publications in relevant academic/industry journals
- Technical/product management and software experience
- Familiarity with the Azure OpenAI service and LLM agent APIs such as LangChain
- Years of experience: 2+
- Masters degree
