Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, or related fields, with a focus on model evaluation and validation.
- Proven leadership experience, including managing and mentoring teams of engineers or data scientists.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods, performance metrics, and evaluation frameworks for ML models.
- Hands-on experience with ML tools, libraries, and platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to drive large-scale projects, manage competing priorities, and deliver results.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the ML Engineering team focused on creating frameworks and platforms for evaluating Apple Intelligence.
- Communicate with ML leaders at Apple.
- Comprehend and utilize the latest research.
- Adopt, architect, and implement processes and platforms for model evaluation and improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in STEM.
- Experience working with large-scale, distributed systems and cloud-based ML pipelines.
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques for presenting evaluation results.
