Requirements
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Customer Service experience required
- 1+ years of brokerage operations experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) to engage with clients and internal partners
- Ability to identify the clients’ needs, clarify information, research every issue, and offer the best solutions and/or alternatives available
- Strong organizational and time-management skills and the ability to prioritize decisions in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to take initiatives to work on ad-hoc projects when required
- Ability to work and build strong relationships across different teams within the organization
Responsibilities
- Processing client transactions accurately and expeditiously
- Handling high volume workloads and managing multiple client requests/issues
- Monitoring adherence to internal guidelines
- Building and maintaining strong relationships while providing a superior level of customer service
- Analyzing and researching pending transactions such as trades, ACAT and Non-ACAT Receives, Internal Transfers, and Conversions with issuers for settlement
- Outreach and education to sponsors who are delinquent in their required reporting
- Handling research requests regarding pending transactions and resolving complex issues in a timely manner
- Reconciliation of Hedge Funds, non-publicly traded REITS, Funds of Funds, Private Investment Funds and other asset classes
- Paying out all dividends, returns of capital, reinvested shares and processing distribution election changes in a timely manner
Preferred Qualifications
- Alternative Investments experience is a major plus
