Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record
  • 4-6 years of experience at a management consultant (asset management practice) or financial services firm (preferably alternatives focused)
  • Strong project management and follow-through skills; ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness and desire to learn
  • Strong team player with an entrepreneurial predisposition and excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Identify and track key business metrics for the Americas Institutional Sales team (e.g., capital raise figures vs. regional / product targets; engagement levels with clients; etc.). Own team-level reporting leveraging dashboards or other solutions.
  • Provide input into the annual capital raise budgeting process across the Americas Sales team as part of the 5-year planning cycle (in coordination with ICG COO).
  • Communicate and drive the right best practices with Sales to maintain clean ‘pipelines’ or opportunity records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; partner with our Digital, Data and Enablement (DDE) Team to update other sales-owned data (e.g., coverage, territories, client segments, etc.), as needed.
  • Analyze peer group to benchmark resource allocation and ensure the capital formation team has the right tools, technology and support
  • Identify and track the key Marketing programs (e.g., events or sponsorships) that are meaningful for ICG (in coordination with Marketing). Manage spend vs. budget.
  • Help plan for and coordinate impactful team meetings, bringing in the right leaders / colleagues from around the firm to share information and connect with the Americas Sales team. Organize agendas based on team input and ensure follow-through. Help coordinate team on-sites / off-sites.
  • Be an advocate for the Salespeople to progress initiatives that will add value to the business and employee experience (e.g., creating efficiency, building knowledge, improving culture, etc.). Think outside the box to push for better ways of working and operating to achieve goals.
  • Manage short-or-long term projects sponsored by the team, engaging the right colleagues, driving the right accountability, socializing progress, etc.
  • Bridge communication between sales, product, finance, operations, and other teams.
  • As a critical member of the ICG and Client & Product Solutions (CPS) COO ecosystem, ensure awareness and connectivity to bigger picture happenings around the firm and help execute, as needed.
  • Help manage and execute against timely Exec or COO deliverables (e.g., presentations, client feedback summaries on the back of firm updates, etc.).
