Requirements
- RETA – Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator (CARO) certification or equivalent experience
- OSHA Level A Hazmat Certification (to be obtained within 90 days of employment)
- Associate’s degree in HVACR, Refrigeration/Electrical, Trade School Certification, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years in Refrigeration/Electrical/HVAC
Responsibilities
- Oversee Refrigeration, Electrical, and HVAC systems including monitoring and trending, troubleshooting and repairs
- Conduct preventive maintenance (P.M.’s) within established timelines
- Conduct required inspections and reporting, implement energy management strategies
- Responsible for logging time and materials into computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Assist management in developing standard operating procedures
- Assist in managing outside mechanical and refrigeration contractors conducting service, repair and new contract work
- Oversee, maintain and implement required documents pertaining to the PSM/RMP and all other regulatory programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of glycol systems
- Experience with computer systems operating platforms
- Familiarity with low voltage control systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills with management
