Requirements

• Bachelor degree in engineering
• Experience with SolidWorks 3D CAD software required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong ability to build relationships with external and internal customers
• Travel required as needed

Responsibilities

• Manage and initiate the creation of technical collateral to support the commercialization of new system introductions and existing business
• Assists in the design and evaluation of optimized and customer-specific systems, and project execution
• Provides application engineering, technical service, and customer support for the sale of assigned products
• Apply engineering principles and theory to fully understand the client’s application to provide insightful solutions while gaining valuable practical industrial experience and process exposure
• Responsible for providing technical support directly to customers, operations, and field sales as needed. Includes costing information, manufacturing processes, formal quotations and required drawings
• Utilize SolidWorks 3D CAD software to provide design concepts, tooling, drawings, work instructions and 3D rendering to support the entire scope of a project
• Utilize software tools to create manufacturing needs for project introduction, design intents, tracking, and any system requirements based on the application and manufacturability
• Develop presentation materials, application development, and specifications for educating customers and operations on the use of assigned materials developed by Alkegen
• Complete technical service requests, samples, customer visits and reports as assigned. May also include production transfers between sites: Validation of specifications, project management, drawings and trials
• Travel and onsite/remote participation with manufacturing sites will be required
