Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and additional experience.
- 3-5 years of experience of Health and Welfare and/or Pension Benefits.
Responsibilities
- Process group and pension plan proposals and verify that individual records are updated appropriately within the established timeframe and that the required documentation and information has been received and approved.
- Ensure correct adjustments and/or billing is reflected on invoices and monitor reports to verify accuracy of plan processing.
- Collaborate with new business and benefit services teams to implement and onboard new business and plan changes.
- Research complex cases/issues while identifying, documenting the issues and resolution in JIRA and other workflow system in timely manner to maintain a high standard of customer service.
- Develop test cases and perform user acceptance testing to validate that results meet requirements and business needs.
- Act as a lead and subject matter expert on system processing of incoming cooperative splits, mergers and new subgroups.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with defining and documenting procedures and ensuring data quality in large transactional systems.
- Knowledge with JIRA, Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, SharePoint) and Omni.
- Strong problem solving, analytic and interpersonal skills.
