Analyst – Financial

Requirements

• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task projects and prioritize multiple deadlines
• Possess strong organizational and project management skills to provide necessary resources
• Possess analytical skills and shows critical thinking capabilities
• Competent in use of Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s degree (B. A.), in Accounting and/or Finance or equivalent
• 1-3 years’ experience in related field

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute reports, track costs, and perform duties required to help the team to prepare financial statements and the balance sheet
• Collect and track data in support of tooling, capital, balance sheet and other financial metrics
• Provide support to Controller & Finance Manager
• Work to create, track, and close out fixed asset projects
• Tooling cost tracking and comparison to approved budgets
• Prepare audit schedules and support documentation
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and supporting documentation required
• Responsible for assisting in month end process, including journal entry preparation and financial analysis
• Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
• Understand your responsibility for health and safety in the workplace
• Cooperate with OSHA MIOSHA inspectors
• Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment
• Follow all safety rules
• Report unsafe conditions immediately
• Report injuries, accidents, illnesses, near misses, property damage immediately
• Will not remove or make ineffective any protective device such as a guard, light curtain, etc.
• Will not use or operate any machine or equipment that the employee is not trained to operate
• Will not use or operate any machine or equipment in a manner that may endanger any employee including themselves

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive industry or manufacturing preferred
