Requirements
- 0-2 years of professional experience in logistics or production environment in the automotive industry
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in the field of scheduling or pre series logistics would be an advantage
- Proven experience in digitalization of processes would be an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage complexity
- Collaborative team-player with interpersonal skills able to work at different hierarchical level of the company
- Understanding of Production environment and affinity to work with complex IT-Systems
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and checking of the gross and demand calculations taking into account any short-term changes in the production program
- Monitoring of deliveries/dates according to delivery schedule in coordination with all parties involved (suppliers, freight forwarders and warehouses)
- Checking the sub-/overstocks on the basis of the available IT systems
- Independent definition and maintenance of the relevant master data and pre-series parameters
- Ensuring supplier information for model maintenance and projects with regard to pre-series part delivery dates
- Ensuring part availability from external and internal suppliers for new project start-ups (VFF, PVS, 0 series, SOP), model years / maintenance and ongoing change projects
- Supporting of special measures with suppliers, freight forwarders and production in the event of supply problems, transport losses and damage as well as supplier failures
- Supporting of program readiness (initial sample target dates)
- Communication with suppliers and internal departments for the use of new parts stands and scheduling
- Organization and supporting of parts provision for pre-series vehicles
- Phase-out and start-up control during model maintenance in close cooperation with the Technical Change Service
- Cross-divisional communication, e.g. with Quality management, technical development, suppliers, bill of materials, assembly or technical office regarding the implementation of the planned change requests, change controls and model maintenance points
- Participation in standard appointments for the development of the resource planning of parts and changes
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree preferred.
