Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, emphasis in business/marketing/finance/analytics or related field preferred.
  • 1+ years sales data reporting and analysis experience, selling experience, CPG or related field.
  • Strong business acumen, with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with large data sets, distill complex analyses into actionable insights, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Clear communicator with the ability to story-tell with data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, LOOKUPs, macros, etc.) and experience with BI/data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the selling efforts of the national retail sales Channel VPs and Retail Sales Directors
  • Routine Reporting: Develop and maintain routine reporting related to volume, market share, distribution and features execution, identifying root causes of performance gaps.
  • Monthly Performance Review Management: Support the internal routine performance review process, including process, analysis and implementation.
  • KPI Management. Support tracking and reporting on internal Key Performance Indicators
  • Retail Sales Data Analysis & support: Leverage syndicated and internal data sources to provide insights and general retail data support.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis & Support: Provide analytical support for retail priorities, promotions, and strategic initiatives as needed.
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance reporting and analytics processes through automation and system enhancements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with syndicated data and measures (IRI, Nielsen, demographic data, etc.) preferred.
  • Beer/alcohol industry knowledge preferred.
  • Technical skills in SQL, Databricks, PowerBI preferred.
  • Field Sales experience preferred.
