Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related scientific discipline.
- 0-3 years experience working in a laboratory with analytical instrumentation.
- Familiarity with analyzers used in gas applications such as GC, FTIR, and NDIR.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using software tools like Excel and Google Sheets. Experience with statistical analysis is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking skills to solve performance-related problems in analytical systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and collaborate with team members.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine chemical analysis of gas samples using analytical techniques such as chromatography and spectroscopy.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of analytical data, including calculations and results.
- Assist with developing and validating new analytical methods, procedures, technologies, and equipment.
- Assist with installation of new systems as well as monitor and troubleshoot systems already deployed.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues related to analytical instrumentation and experimental procedures.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with statistical analysis is a plus.
