Requirements
- Experience in handling chemicals, operating laboratory equipment, generating and interpreting data.
- Experience in a chemistry lab experience
- Detail-oriented
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates clear communication skills and motivation to learn.
Responsibilities
- Learn how to conduct organic analysis using GC-MS, Pyrolysis-GC-MS, LC-MS, G-NVR, and TOC.
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for optimizing testing methods.
- Maintain accurate records and document the new testing method.
- Present project progress in group meetings.
- Develop and validate a new method under the direction of a senior scientist and establish a new method for qualitative and quantitative analysis of organic impurities.
- Build up internal library/database with LC-QToF to increase efficiency on unknown compounds identification.
- Participate in organic impurities mapping in different solvent to provide valuable information to internal customers for solvent picking.
- Optimize TOC in routine analysis and beyond.
Preferred Qualifications
- Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science
- Graduation date of December 2025 or later
