Analytics Administrator

Excellent Communication, Documentation and Presentation skills
Focused Tableau Cloud administration experience and Tableau experience.
In-depth experience with design & development of Workbook Dashboards, and Data Sources through Tableau.
Proficiency with Tableau REST, embedding APIs and integration capabilities.
Must have hands-on expertise with end to end automation & building frameworks for tasks like deployment of data sources/workbooks, logging & alerts and content monitoring via scripting (Python preferred).
Advance knowledge of Tableau Cloud platform and functionalities such as Tableau Bridge, Tableau Pulse, Connected apps.
Knowledge of data governance and security practices.
Experience managing Tableau users, groups, and content.
Ability to recommend best practices of development and critique design approaches.

Tableau & other analytics Platform Administration including but not limited to license management, defining procedures for workbook promotion, managing object security & permissions for RBAC.
Monitor the performance of the analytics platform (Data Catalog and Tableau) and regularly report on platform metrics.
Manage multiple data connections and data sources, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.
Define and advance the adoption of platform ‘best practices’ across the company covering Data Catalog and Tableau.
Regularly reviews and maintains the organization and security of the objects in the platform.
Supports and establishes standards for platform usage and maintains user knowledgebase.
Reviews troublesome workbooks and data sources and provides suggestions to users for improvements.
Manage users, groups, permissions, and content. Communicate new features and provide training and support.
Interfaces with BI developers and provides consulting services on platform capabilities and specific guidelines on the usage of live vs extracted data sources.
