Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in business analysis, solution consulting, or solution architecture, with at least 4+ years focused on patient engagement solutions.
  • Strong understanding of patient care workflows, digital health platforms, and healthcare CRM systems (Salesforce Health Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
  • Experience with patient portals, mobile health (mHealth) apps, telehealth solutions, and AI-driven patient interactions.
  • Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) and their integration capabilities.
  • Expertise in FHIR, HL7, and other healthcare interoperability standards.
  • Ability to define data privacy, security, and governance strategies for patient data management.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based patient engagement solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with healthcare providers, patient experience teams, and technology stakeholders to gather business requirements and define solution roadmaps.
  • Analyze current patient workflows, engagement models, and technology platforms to identify opportunities for digital transformation.
  • Define solution architecture, integration frameworks, and omnichannel patient engagement strategies using leading healthcare technologies.
  • Lead gap analysis, feasibility studies, and strategic planning for patient experience initiatives.
  • Act as a primary liaison between business users, technology teams, and vendors to align solutions with patient care goals.
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and design reviews to ensure a patient-centric approach.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
  • Present insights, reports, and recommendations to executive leadership, digital health teams, and IT decision-makers.
  • Work closely with technology teams, solution architects, and developers to guide the design, development, and deployment of patient engagement solutions.
  • Define data models, patient interaction touchpoints, and system integration strategies across EHR, CRM, mobile apps, patient portals, and analytics platforms.
  • Support the development of digital front-door strategies, including chatbots, AI-driven patient engagement, and self-service portals.
  • Ensure seamless integration with telehealth platforms, remote patient monitoring (RPM), and digital therapeutics.
  • Define KPIs, analytics dashboards, and reporting frameworks to measure patient engagement success.
  • Work with BI and analytics teams to provide actionable insights into patient behavior, engagement metrics, and healthcare outcomes.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize patient workflows, technology usability, and user experience.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts and solution consultants.
  • Lead documentation efforts for best practices, standard operating procedures, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with training teams to develop patient engagement guides, system user manuals, and adoption strategies.
