Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that analytics products meet business needs, align with strategic goals, and drive value generated by digital products. Your mission is to drive requirements for data products to drive rental growth.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team, focusing on prioritizing and refining the product backlog to maximize value delivery. This role will allow us to establish a Strong Data & Analytics Foundation for Rental.
  • Develop vision and strategy for BI and analytics products that align with business, customer needs, deliver value, and achieve business objectives based on data and insights rather than intuition or assumptions.
  • Collaborate with Rental and Used digital app team, digital adoption team and strategy growth analytics team and key stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and translate business requirements into clear specifications for analytics features. Prioritize features, enhancements, and user stories in the product backlog based on business value and user needs.
  • Assisting in the development, testing, and delivery of data products; Analyzing existing offerings, preparing technical documentation, and recommending upgrades.
  • Work closely with data scientists, analysts, engineers, and UX designers to deliver high-impact analytics solutions.
  • Supporting development by fulfilling their data requests, preparing reports, and providing technical assistance.
  • Establish and track key metrics (KPIs) to measure the success and adoption of analytics products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Typically, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 4+ years increasingly complex professional experience
  • 3+ years’ experience as a product owner/manager, lead business analyst, or senior project/program manager or similar role within an insights and analytics context while simultaneously managing multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a deep understanding of data analytics and visualization.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of a matrixed organization.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools, statistical methods, and data exploration techniques.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end data lifecycle across traditional data warehouses, relational databases, operational data stores, business intelligence reporting, as well as new concepts such as data fabrics, data mesh, and data lake house.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, data quality, data modeling, and data architecture concepts
  • Knowledge of data technology products and components for Big Data and Cloud (AWS, Data Lakes, and similar).
  • Experience with data structures using SQL
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Management studio, R, SQL, DevOps, Excel, Alteryx, Snowflake is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a complex, rapidly changing, and culturally diverse environment.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas, regardless of the technical capacity of the audience.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where digital is still evolving as a core offering.
