Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)
  • 2 – 4 years of related experience or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position
  • One or more of the following skills: AWS, Golang, Java, C# or C++, MongoDB, React, Snowflake

Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, and deploys enterprise architectural software systems
  • Defines system solutions based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms
  • Researches, identifies, selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery
  • Establishes, implements, and documents technology integration or migration strategies
  • Leads application architecture vision for services using technology stacks with a core focus on security, resiliency, scalability, supportability, and performance
  • Assists with defining requirements and architecture necessary to meet business objectives
  • Investigates and advises on third-party integrations to develop requirements and architecture associated with external interfaces, protocols, and interoperability with other applications
  • Collaborates with product and engineering teams to design and build services that meet key product and infrastructure requirements
  • Produces both high-level and detailed design for platform and product services
  • Authors clean, scalable, modular, secure, well-structured, and testable code as needed
  • Designs and implements microservices with thoughtfully defined Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
  • Ensures deployed software can run safely with the proper level of instrumentation and telemetry
  • Owns designed software/service components from ideation through delivery
  • Communicates architecture decisions, roadblocks, and timelines to stakeholders
  • Reviews system(s) code and provides feedback to engineering teams
  • Provides mentoring, coaching and skill development to engineering teams
  • Performs other duties as assigned
