Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)
- 2 – 4 years of related experience or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position
- One or more of the following skills: AWS, Golang, Java, C# or C++, MongoDB, React, Snowflake
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and deploys enterprise architectural software systems
- Defines system solutions based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms
- Researches, identifies, selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery
- Establishes, implements, and documents technology integration or migration strategies
- Leads application architecture vision for services using technology stacks with a core focus on security, resiliency, scalability, supportability, and performance
- Assists with defining requirements and architecture necessary to meet business objectives
- Investigates and advises on third-party integrations to develop requirements and architecture associated with external interfaces, protocols, and interoperability with other applications
- Collaborates with product and engineering teams to design and build services that meet key product and infrastructure requirements
- Produces both high-level and detailed design for platform and product services
- Authors clean, scalable, modular, secure, well-structured, and testable code as needed
- Designs and implements microservices with thoughtfully defined Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
- Ensures deployed software can run safely with the proper level of instrumentation and telemetry
- Owns designed software/service components from ideation through delivery
- Communicates architecture decisions, roadblocks, and timelines to stakeholders
- Reviews system(s) code and provides feedback to engineering teams
- Provides mentoring, coaching and skill development to engineering teams
- Performs other duties as assigned
