Requirements

  • A degree in engineering
  • Min 2 years of experience in a relevant industry in technical sales.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information in simple terms.

Responsibilities

  • Gain approval for IPEX products at the state and municipality levels.
  • Promote and educate design engineers on thermoplastic industrial, plumbing, and mechanical piping to become a trusted advisor in the industry.
  • Incorporate IPEX products into corporate and project specifications to help the U.S. sales force meet annual sales and growth objectives.
  • Train IPEX representatives and distributors, providing technical support on IPEX industrial, plumbing, and mechanical products.
  • Develop educational, training, and technical materials for industrial, plumbing, and mechanical products.
  • Promote thermoplastics and IPEX at industry trade shows and conventions to build brand awareness in new markets.
  • Collaborate closely with sales staff, innovation, marketing, research and development, engineering, and production teams.
  • Present and conduct training seminars for engineers, OEMs, distributors, contractors, and IPEX staff.
  • Create and update technical documentation for IPEX industrial, plumbing, and mechanical products.
  • Handle product complaints and coordinate analysis and response.
