Requirements
- You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with a technical lean.
- You have 10+ years of experience in overall architecture and design.
- You have 5+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure and security aspects of on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices.
- Experience in designing scalable, highly available, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud services, AWS (preferred), Azure, SaaS security, and the Well Architected Framework pillars.
- Demonstrates a good understanding of Web application security, microservices, and API design patterns.
- Strong understanding of industry-standard hosting and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Good understanding of Service Mesh/Istio, micro segmentation, and network security.
- Knowledge and understanding of security best practices, including identity and access management and data encryption.
- Experience conducting architecture reviews to find and evaluate application and infrastructure security risks.
- Knowledge in authentication and authorization protocols like OIDC, OAuth2.0, and SAML.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Global Technology Strategy and Architecture (GTSA) leader focused on responsibilities that combine both Platform and Security Architecture.
- Define and architect systems that can scale, are secure, and are resilient.
- Partner with IT leaders and peers to influence and define strategic technology direction, target state solutions, and develop technology roadmaps in partnership with GTSA and IT leadership.
- Define cloud-based platforms and the integration of various applications, services, and third-party solutions within them.
- Ensure that security is integrated into the architecture to ensure continuous monitoring and protection.
