Requirements
- Master’s degree in Higher Education or related field (required)
- 1-3+ years of post-Bachelors Residence Life experience and knowledge of Student Development Theory (required)
- Previous demonstrated success in a supervisory position; Ability to supervise and advise CAs and students on a daily basis
- Be self-motivated, inclusive, and customer service oriented
Responsibilities
- Support the mission and goals of the Residence Life program
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Community Advisors on programming initiatives
- Develop an inclusive community
- Ensure the safety and security of all resident students
- Respond to student emergencies and incidents
- Follow emergency protocols and coordinate responses with Public Safety
- Serve as a Hearing Officer as a part of the Dean of Student Life Hearing Process
