Requirements
- 5+ years in distribution/retail experience, including at least 3 years of successful training, mentoring, coaching, and developing people you’ve led.
- Experience utilizing reports and KPIs to coach and develop team members.
- Comfortable making complex decisions to balance the needs of the team and the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 60-100 Associates, including 2-4 Operations Leads.
- Collaborate with peers to meet production goals and keep workflow humming for your shift.
- Develop and support Leads who are actively coaching Associates on processes, procedures, quality standards, workflow, and scheduling.
- Utilize reporting tools to analyze KPIs and use that information to improve distribution center performance.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
- Manage day-to-day needs of the team including vacation requests, scheduling, timecards, attendance, and more.
- Actively participate in the recruiting, onboarding, development, and retention of Associates.
- Create a safe work environment and show others how to operate safely.
