Requirements
- Crisis Intervention (Advanced): Demonstrates the uppermost levels of expertise in applying crisis intervention in challenging and complex situations.
- Training (Intermediate): Has delivered a program in its entirety and managed the delivery of a program by a team of instructors.
- Patient Documentation (Intermediate): The ability to receive and record patient information.
- Contract Negotiations (Intermediate): Demonstrates an understanding of negotiating skills such as building trust and managing the opposition.
Responsibilities
- Completes Crisis Assessment independently via in person and/or tele psych
- Documents accurately in patient chart and has the ability to update the team during shift changes
- Facilitates Admissions / assessments with Physician partners
- Performs crisis intervention
- Telephone Triage Activities
- Contributes to the organization by actively participating in process improvement initiatives and shared decision making.
