Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in asset management, IT operations, or procurement in a global organization.
  • Proven experience establishing asset management capabilities from the ground up.
  • Strong understanding of asset management frameworks (ITIL, ISO 19770) and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow Software) and integrating with ITSM, CMDB, and procurement systems.
  • Knowledge of software license management, SaaS and cloud asset tracking, and vendor compliance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to drive change in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct an enterprise-wide asset inventory (hardware, software, cloud) to establish a baseline.
  • Identify and remediate gaps in asset tracking, software licensing, and compliance.
  • Work with procurement, IT, Security, Finance, and other teams to centralize asset acquisition and contract management.
  • Implement short-term processes for asset tracking, reporting, and reconciliation to ensure visibility and control.
  • Evaluate current asset management gaps, risks, and inefficiencies.
  • Develop a roadmap to mature asset management processes, policies, and governance aligned with industry best practices (e.g., ITIL, ISO 19770).
  • Recommend and implement asset management tools that integrate with existing ITSM, procurement, and security systems.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks to monitor asset lifecycle management.
  • Deploy an enterprise-wide asset management service that supports global software operations, ensuring scalability and compliance.
  • Drive automation and integration of asset management with CMDB, cloud cost management, and security tools.
  • Establish governance and training programs to embed asset management best practices across teams.
  • Continuously refine and optimize asset management processes to align with business growth, technology evolution, and financial objectives.
