Requirements
- 10+ years experience managing various technology teams in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to use data effectively to find and address problems
- Demonstrated ability leading complex projects to successful completion
- Demonstrated understanding of testing methodologies and techniques for both functional and non-functional requirements
- Excellent sense of judgement
- Extensive experience responsible for outcomes with vended and proprietary software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate individuals, teams, and organizational structure and make necessary changes to maximize effectiveness.
- Work with operations teams to understand processes and find ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness with technology.
- Use data to identify areas of opportunity to meaningfully improve resiliency then advocate for and deliver solutions that take advantage of those opportunities.
- Evaluate appropriate (and inappropriate) use of various technologies and vended software. Strike an appropriate balance between solutions appropriately built by technology, built or configured by business, and purchased from a vendor.
- Work directly with vendors to establish standards and hold them accountable for meeting those standards.
- Challenge status quo development, test, and release process. Validate appropriate levels of testing are performed and make risk-based change management decisions.
- Communicate important challenges, solutions, timelines, and status to executive and other stakeholders appropriately.
