Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with commercial real estate related transactions
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Ability to work in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Provide support for the closing process related to commercial real estate transactions
- Track diligence items including 3rd party property level diligence reports, legal and compliance requirements
- Track post-closing and compliance related diligence as well as final closing binders
- Support regulatory reporting for real estate investing portfolios
- Manage a document and data management tool for storing lifecycle deal transaction documentation
- Facilitate post-closing handoffs with internal stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with both direct real estate transactions and lending/borrowing transactions preferred
- Ability to take the initiative to construct creative solutions to critical business needs
- Solid understanding of the debt and equity diligence process including title clearance matters, surveys, and zoning reports
- Familiarization and understanding of legal documentation terminology
