Requirements
- 1 – 5 years of work experience
- Work experience in data analysis is preferable
- Basic fixed income & bond mathematics knowledge is preferable
- Work experience in development of models for bespoke financial products is preferable
- Bachelor or Masters in applicable field e.g. computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, computational finance, quantitative finance
Responsibilities
- Use advanced training in mathematics, programming and logical thinking to construct quantitative models
- Collaborate with bankers, traders and portfolio managers
- Work on alpha generating strategies, portfolio allocation problems, and build models for prediction, pricing, trading automation, data analysis
- Find solutions to a broad range of problems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Contribute ideas that have measurable effects on the business and clients
Preferred Qualifications
- 0-3 years of prior work experience in a relevant field
- Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interest in the financial markets and good investment sense/commercial instinct
