Requirements

  • 1 – 5 years of work experience
  • Work experience in data analysis is preferable
  • Basic fixed income & bond mathematics knowledge is preferable
  • Work experience in development of models for bespoke financial products is preferable
  • Bachelor or Masters in applicable field e.g. computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, computational finance, quantitative finance

Responsibilities

  • Use advanced training in mathematics, programming and logical thinking to construct quantitative models
  • Collaborate with bankers, traders and portfolio managers
  • Work on alpha generating strategies, portfolio allocation problems, and build models for prediction, pricing, trading automation, data analysis
  • Find solutions to a broad range of problems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Contribute ideas that have measurable effects on the business and clients

Preferred Qualifications

  • 0-3 years of prior work experience in a relevant field
  • Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interest in the financial markets and good investment sense/commercial instinct
