POSITION TITLE: Assistant District Attorney, Firs
LOCATION: Miami, OK
STATUS: Full Time, Exempt
CLOSING: Open until filled
SALARY: Commensurate with experience and qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:
District Attorney, Douglas S. Pewitt, is seeking 1st Assistant District Attorney. Successful candidate must have experience as a prosecutor. Experience as 1st ADA a plus but not required. Offices located in Jay, Oklahoma and Miami, Oklahoma.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Juris Doctorate from accredited law school.
Experienced attorney. Must have experience as prosecutor.
Team player looking to collaborate, learn and grow as a prosecutor.
Persons with an interest in civil and/or Native American law are especially sought.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prosecute felony and misdemeanor cases. Guaranteed trial work.
Assist in providing legal services to County Government Operations.
Oversee team of prosecutors.
Other duties as assigned.
Participate in ongoing professional development training.
