Requirements
- Must have previously worked as a DSP
- Completed all required trainings
- Demonstrated all the knowledge, skills and accountabilities of a Direct Service Professional Level three
- BA/BS Degree in Psychology or Human Services strongly preferred
- Enrolled in 4-year degree in Psychology or Human Services field
- Experience working within the field of ID/DD preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care services as needed
- Train staff using the EMOE training system
- Role model use of person-centered philosophy
- Develop written, individualized habilitative plans
- Conduct assessments – both behavioral and habilitative
- Design effective data collection systems
- Oversee/maintain the completion of all required paperwork
- Provide appropriate therapeutically documented level of supervision
- Train new staff on Level 1 competencies
- Resource to staff by providing clinical support in absence of the BIS/Supervisor
- Lead trainer of weekend staff on clinical interventions

- Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills

- Highly flexible to varied work schedule
- Experience in computer skills and ability to teach others
- College level writing ability
- Must demonstrate assertiveness/leadership skills
- Must demonstrate clinical skills
